All Mountain Bike Ride in Val d'Anniviers

Anniviers – Home of the Grand Raid, the Val d’Anniviers is the landscape that mountain bike enthusiasts dream of. Bikers of all skill levels and experience will find something to satisfy their expectations!
200 km of mountain bike routes
In Anniviers, there are no less than 200 km of mountain bike routes:
- For beginners, enabling them to start on mountain pasture routes with gentler slopes
- For experienced cyclists who will enjoy combining a variety of routes and tackling vertiginous slopes
- For professionals and amateurs intending to participate in the Grand Raid and who will benefit from constant training, especially over the last part of the course (from the Pas de Lona to Grimentz)
Bike Explorer map
The Bike Explorer 1:40,000 map is an indispensable tool for detailed planning of your mountain bike tours through the Val d’Anniviers.
As well as suggesting a range of itineraries it provides specific information on the height differences, route, physical and technical difficulty levels for the various trails. The map is on sale at the Tourist Offices for a price of CHF 16
Grand Raid
On 19 August 2017, Grimentz will host the finishing line of the Grand Raid for the 27th consecutive year. With its four starting points (Verbier, Nendaz, Hérémence and Evolène), its legendary crossing of the Pas de Lona and its international renown, the Grand Raid is the must-see event in Grimentz every summer. The (free) map of the “Grand Raid” route is available from the Tourist Offices.
